What at the beginning of the last century was a luxury villa has recently been adapted to the first four-star hotel in the medieval town of Labin, located on the south east coast of Istria. The charming Peteani family boutique hotel is located along the main road leading to the old town. Offering a view of the small Renaissance church of Santa Maria della Salute and the two adjacent ateliers of the artists Verbanac and Bičić, the hotel is a fusion of the spirit of ancient times in Labin, cultural heritage and modern high-quality design. Its eleven double and three single rooms, with saunas, an extensive wine cellar and a restaurant with local specialties, have been designed by the renowned Croatian design studio "Fabrika". The historical part of the villa has been preserved in its original form while the newly built restaurant has been interpolated in accordance with the directives of the superintendence. The minimal FerroFinestra profiles with Thermal Barrier have allowed the designers to maintain their stylistic, essential and refined lines and to respect at the same time the required requisites.
