The house, on the outskirts of Rome, was born from the owners' desire to recreate a large family home according to the highest standards of sustainability, where there was a reinforced concrete construction of the 60s. The new building is entirely made with XLAM wooden load-bearing structures and finished with a mineral fibre coat and plaster. The building is set in a relatively small garden, so the large openings allow an intimate dialogue with the outside greenery, projecting it inside the house.
The huge lift and slide door that opens into the living area floods the room with light and provides excellent thermal insulation.
